I think the story is on point and a clearly good one. The more you dive into the book the more you understand the darkness in Conrad's heart for Africa. He clearly explains and sees Africa as a place with savages and the primitive nature of the people. He is blinded by the single story of Africa and there isn't any point to explain the beauty of Africa to him because racism is what he portrays and it a pity that he wasn't born an African as he missing out on the pride of being called an African and growing up on the most beautiful place on earth.
