Positives: Amazing acting by the lead roles as well as everyone else including the little kiddo. Its a classical tale and might seems a bit slow paced when compared to movies with sci fi content and fight scenes. But in its own content and given the 2 and half hour duration, I think the story was told at reasonable pace and well timed songs. One can peacefully watch it along with family. Amazing dialogues. Not sure who has written the dialogues, but they did a wonderful job. Really good vfx in few certain scenes. Negatives: VFX in few scenes should be improved, esp. in the first fifteen minutes. We watched the 3d version and VFX feels odd in few fast paced scenes. The court scene of Shakuntala can be made more powerful with a much better screenplay and camera movements and direction of approach. There are just or two dialogues, actually one dialogue that felt a bit out of the time, but rest are amazing. I took away one point for a little off VFX in few scenes and the screen play in few scenes. Overall, has been a pleasant watch.

All will be great if you haven’t watched ‘Badla’ or ‘The invisible guest’ before. Else you ll be disappointed. It would have been better if the cast or the director had informed beforehand that the movie is a remake and not an original. Felt cheated..
