Shrek 2, a theatrical masterpiece, one of the greatest animated sequels ever, and here are my reasons 1) You could watch this movie without having to watch the original, it dosent rely heavily on the the original plot, i mean sure the characters return, but you still could get a kick out of it without having to see the original, but on top of this, it builds more to the lore and feel of the story, well done shrek! 2) I need a hero 3) shrek 2 is just an amazing sequel, it does better as a sequel than shrek 1 does as a stand alone film, the characters are great, eddie murphy in particular does a great job as donkey, but everyone else is great too, the script is just amazing, Well done! So in conclusion shrek 2 is incredible the best character is shrek, but puss in boots was great too, best scene: I need a hero by far, RIP mongo, and my friends, Shrek is Love, Shrek Is life
