What a waste of Idris Elba's talent! The actresses that played his daughter's were annoying, easy to see acting was poor. Doors not closed, daughters complaining of how hot it was. Idris walking in swamp full of crocodiles & snakes at night running from a computer generated dirty lion. Smh

Haunting and sad. The racist attitudes towards refugees fleeing their homeland due to war, only to face the war of poverty & racism. Overall, the movie was revealing of how one's life can drastically change.

Heartwarming, thoughtful. Eddie Murphy does an excellent job in portraying a secretive but likeable guy. The ensemble cast of characters; Charlie, her mother, Owen, & Izzy, shows you don't have to be related to be a family.
