This movie was my entire childhood and inspired me in every way! The CGI is a tad old school and isnt great but for 2008 it works for the charm

This was my favorite movie as a kid and it stills lives up to the praise I give it today. It makes me very sad to know how few critics actually enjoyed this movie.

When I review this I am referring to the original Princess of power, not the trash remake princessES of power. The 1985 she-ra has a gorgeous art style vastly superior to today's art style. The soundtrack to the original show is amazing and has so much raw emotion. Everything about it shows the love put into it.

The only thing I liked from this movie was that they mixed the real characters with animated characters and they didn't even do that well. I'm sure Emily Blunt tried her best but the way she portrayed Mary Poppins didn't make it feel like Mary Poppins. The story was kinda everyone and it felt weird that Micheal and Jane were such bad parents, I understand that they had bad parents in the original but at the end the parents changed their ways, so how did Micheal and Jane get like that? I'm sorry but I really didn't like this movie.

It was kinda boring in my opinion and broke the marvel canon on numerous occasions

This was the only was you could trick me into learning history when I was 5 and I still love this show!
