I really enjoyed this movie! I am not a huge fan of ballet, so I don’t know much about the actual nutcracker but this movie was pretty good! Every director has their own way if portraying a film. I feel like many people are upset that it doesn’t stay true to the nutcracker ballet. This movie is a stand alone... it was inspired by the nutcracker, not a remake of the ballet. It has a good twist that me an my friend literally jumped out of our seats in!! The effects were so gorgeous. It almost felt like you could be sitting there. There were some times where the film felt slow or rushed, but I didn’t mind, it all came together at the end!!! Everyone has different opinions, my opinion this movie is great! I just don’t understand why there are so many bad reviews! I know this is going to be a movie I’ll watch for a long time!!
