This was my first novel to read that had characters from the Bible! Hosea is the main character here! I couldn’t put the book down and was always eager to get to the next chapter……. It is a mind blowing novel. Hosea being a patient man, brings out the good in Angel who expects nothing but betrayal from men. Hosea who seeks the heart of God in everything day by day softens Angel’s frozen heart and indeed, ‘Though fallen low, God raised her up.´ It is worth the read! 👌

I read this book last year(2021) and it evoked feelings of how life is full of uncertainties and at the same time took many lessons from it. A pure hearted lady like Hadassah who under such an excruciating and heinous ordeal was never forgotten by the most high! Her life was written out and she kept the faith and remembered what was instilled in her. She held to it and with it she finished the race. The closure of it is worth it. Grateful to you Francine Rivers for putting the piece together and above all, the Lord who enables you! ❤️
