The film grips you tight until you feel like your ligaments are tearing and you're left flailing in a desperate attempt to tap out before you lose conciousness. This feeling is the closest thing to Jiu-Jitsu you will experience throughout the movie. I just hope a behind the scenes is made one day to explain this film and answer my many, many questions. Mainly, what kind of rare designer drug did the director have in his possession that Nic Cage desired enough to star in this? One positive, I loved the uncredited cameo by Jamie Foxxs Electro in the role of the preda....pardon me space ninja.
