Daniel Chase

So far, so good. Very much true to CSI universe form - nothing new here. Could be good or bad depending on the viewer. However I get the feeling that the return of Grissom and Sidle are for this season only- just to draw in fans of the original series, and then exit next season for it to stand or fall on the new blood. The problem is I see very little to capture my interest in the new characters. Producers are banking on the overly obvious flirtation between Josh and Allie to capture viewer interest. The ME is quirky but not in a way that is more annoying than interesting. I find Mandeep Dhillon difficult to understand at times. A slight taming of the British accent would be welcome.
