Contrary to what most people say, i truly enjoyed the new take on this FAIRY TALE classic! The realism of the location, the animations and above all the changes that fits the narratives. Oh i forgot about the songs, whether the old or new, they brings life to the colour of the movie 🤩😍

I grew up watching you guys and watching the reunion not only made me cry but also think back of all the laughters you have brought into my life... Blessed all of you for you!

Noticed most of the bad or so so reviews came from men?! Well as a man myself, I found this movie adaptation a fresh of breath air from the animated one and kudos to Disney in going ahead to make this movie as realistic as possible. To those who don't know chinese culture, the Phoenix is the representation of the female spirit and that is why it's being used in the movie. Thank god there is no talking 'Dragon' and songs as that will certainly spoil the whole realistic take and also, in Asian culture, we too have 'witch craft' that is represented by Gong Li as a shape-shifter. So to those who wish to see talking dragon and comedy and songs, this is not a movie for you. As an Asian man myself, I proud that Disney recognised the change in society where women are now considered as equal! Too bad for the West cause we at the East are watching it on the BIG screen!
