This book had me hooked up right from the first page. I constantly thought about what i was going to discover on the next page. It is an unusual story that had me surprised and interested in more possibilities on what human beings are capable of and what can happen. I got to see that being a genius comes with it's own problems as does being retardant. And the treatments are not good for the retardant. Also, one most important thing I liked was what Charlie, the leading character said about life he said he had been dumb and a genius. To him, it doesn't mean anything to be a genius or not, what matters most is to have friends or people close to him with some connection to talk about daily events and other issues. Love. What is life if you don't love and don't have friends? It is unbearable
I thought, this is deep. I can relate to some situations and I know how it feels. It felt like reading a diary and I wanted to know about every day of the lead character. If you've read thirteen reasons why and everything everything, you will refinery love this read.
