Akash Vani is one of those cute love stories with a solid societal message hidden behind it. The story starts with Akaas meets Vani in college and they fall in love from their first day in college. But when it comes to telling their parents, Vani hesitates as her parents are conservative about love marriage. This shows a very hard hitting reality of the society which so grudgingly looks down on love marriages, and so fondly on arranged marriages that parents wl force their children to sustain their marriages even when it's a abusive, possesive husband. A story shown where making parents happy at the cost of your own happiness is not always the right decision. This is a refreshingly a portrayal of an old-age belief of the society vs the new changing scenario of this generation. It is a film which very subtly but powerfully shows the result of sometimes some incorrect decisions. Would recommend all to give it atleast one watch just to respect Luv Ranjan's attempt at this bold storytelling. The actors are all amazing, and loved the story. Do watch it once!

I have just finished watching Crash Landing On You for the second time... And mind you this is my first ever K-drama, and I fell in love with this series!! The story is a cliche of a rich spoilt girl meets a humble, down-to-earth boy and both of their life changes forever. But the backdrop of the cultural differences between North & South Korea, the political storyline, and the small moments beautifully portrayed in th show is what makes this series stand out! Watch it for Se-ri to fall in love with Jeong Heok... Watch it for the action packed scenes of Jeong Heok beating 20 villians at once... And watch it for the beautiful landscapes of Switzerland they have showcased. No matter what your reason is, if you are looking to start a K-series, start with this one... And you will never regret it for a moment!

One of the best shows on the TV - it is intense, edgy and unexpected twists in the story, always keeping the audience tuned to the next story line. A unique plot of the Russian spies - it beautifully and delicately shows the complexities and the tension between the two countries during the Cold War era and how both the governments made some good and bad decisions around them. Wrapped with the familial drama, it is at par with Breaking Bad in quality and content. Give it a must watch!
