Over dramatic and fast paced, in a good way? For me it's like a reverse of the outlander series (instead of a woman going back in time it's a man going forward in time), with the comical drama, supernatural themes and vibe that I get from buffy the vampire slayer or sabrina, but also the ironic buddy-cop theme. Definitely unique but also feels like a mash up of a bunch of things. I do recommend giving it a watch if you're in the mood for something a little different.

I like Emma stone and I like 101 dalmations but I don’t know how I feel about this movie. Emma stone seems like the weirdest casting decision for cruella deville . I didn’t really enjoy or connect with her or any of the other characters in the film. All the animals are CGI. I don’t know I just didn’t enjoy it. Possibly because I thought it was going to be a live action of the original movie and not some odd rendition of a prequel.

The movie looks lovely and the actors played their characters great, but my god, I was yawning through the whole movie. I only kept watching because I couldn’t believe it could have such famous actors and be as boring as it was seeming, but all the way to the end was a snooze-fest and the ending was about as anticlimactic as it gets. Bitterly disappointed.
