This show was actually really good! I expected it to be fun and silly, which it was, but it also provided character depth unheard of in most web series. I genuinely enjoyed every second of it, from the hilariously stupid parts to the sad and serious bits. I've seen the whole thing twice through, and I was completely captivated both times. Plus, that theme song? It rocks! I definitely recommend watching it, even eight years later.

Agents of SHIELD is one of the best shows I've ever watched. S1 is kind of slow (it has more of an investigative, Doctor Who feel to it), but each episode has its own importance in the long run. The plot really picks up at about episode 16 and beautifully carries on for the rest of the show. The character development throughout the seasons is fantastic! Each character is multi-dimensional, and as the team grows together, we get to see them grow into new people. Not to mention the acting is top tier, especially from Iain de Caestecker and Elizabeth Henstridge. Overall, Agents of SHIELD is a hidden gem.
