Tracy Hill – Google

Nothing much happened no advancment in the overall story. An excuse for some special effects and action scenes. Some of the plot was full of cliches and Why the eff did they do that moments? characters once again one dimensional and stereotypes. The whale hunting values of the 19th century were outdated in this era of nose to tail utilisation of resources. And the ethics of "growing" an avatar to inhabit when the being would have had a mind of its own beggars belief. If you leave the laws of physics and real life parallels behind it is more of a fairytale that an essay on the humans future.

The Matrix original is one of my all time favourites so I was pretty disappointed in this one. Trying to be too clever. Surely the writers could have come up with a better plot. Typical studio executives movie. Just shove everything from the preceding movies into this one. With unlimited special effects available and the ability for the script to go anywhere due to the "unreality" element there was a huge opportunity...unfortunately gone begging. No more please!!!
