Truly, there are just too many things wrong with this film to list. Instead I'll just say that I was pretty excited to see where WW was going next. I liked the first movie a lot. Was one of only a few DC movies I thought worked. But this was, by comparison pretty lame, and with an ending so ridiculous in my mind, I think everyone should get a refund, and all of us who got the HBOMax for this should be credited a month. The whole thing is really just nonsensical. And because it was so bad it felt like it was about 3.5 hours not 2.5. So very disappointing. I really don't know what they were thinking.

Honestly... At one hour in, and if you're looking for Sci-fi, apparently it's hidden in a few seconds of the opening sequence. And no matter how much you spin things, this is the least thought provoking movie I've ever seen. A depressed woman from a dysfunctional family screws a stranger on her wedding day. And that's the highlight of the 1st half of the film. One assumes there will be some way this all ties in together at the end. If you can make it that far. This film is essentially an hour of an artsy directors attempt to visualize "depression" by dragging us through his interpretation of it. At about 1:10 into this 2:15 hour film the second reference to anything remotely Sci-fi comes up. The problem is if you paid for a Sci-fi film, you'd have left by now. And if you're still hanging in, it's just not enough. I've seen a great many "artsy" films but I barely make it thru this one. I can't understand the critics rating. Maybe it's over my head.? The cinematography is very well done though.
