This movie had a lot of stunning visuals and the monster fight scenes were amazing However other than that, this movie was a total disappointment. The story was underwhelming, and the characters were honestly really boring. I won’t get into spoilers but the motives of the villain were honestly cartoon-esque. I would even say it is Batman vs Superman/Justice League esque. No depth whatsoever, very 2 dimensional Human protagonists were essentially non-existent. Tragic case of the plot dictating the characters rather than the characters dictating the plot. Again lack of depth and only serves to move the plot along to the next destination. The majority of the movie relies on exposition rather than actual story. Honestly out of the Godzilla movies I have watched, this is one of the most underwhelming and least enjoyable Solid 5.5/10
