One of my favorite movies of all time. Can replace It's A Wonderful Life inmy opinion, or at least have the same honor and loosely based on true story so there's a plus. Love father/son bond movies. Should be more if those.

Closer to 4.5 of 5. Yes, it's got the usual corny predictable movie formula, but Richard Dreyfuss STILL wows an audience and is pretty remarkable in making Astronaut definitely a worthwhile watch and definitely enjoyed him arguing with pretty much EVERYONE because of course he's the only one that knows what he's talking about and ofcourse, it's based on that logical large brain of his that we all loved so much since back in the day. He deserves some type of accolades as I don't know if anyone else would of worked the film to turn it from so so eye rolling snore to a flick worth watching, and probably more than once. He took my Goodfeel Meter to past 5 stars truth be told, and movie only got a half star less because it was all OK, but just OK, but the man himself was deliciously superb.

Watched and hooked from start to finish. Ewan McGregor transformed seamlessly into the heart and tortured soul of one of a kind artist, visionary, Halston. The entire cast was impeccable. Especially enjoyed Liza's portrayal by Krista Rodriguez and heart wrenching performance of Halston as a child done so well by the very gifted Maxim Swinton whose scenes explained the painful path created in childhood, which led to Halston's glory.

I thought it was going to be an eye roll, but I honestly liked it way more than I'd like to admit. Watched it all in one day. Sure, it still needs to grow, but I'm seriously hoping for a second season. It was definitely different, which I can't say for a lot of other shows these days.

Call me crazy, but I enjoyed seeing what actors I didn't even recognize would look like if they were a part of an SOA episode. And the nicknames were a a scream. The only character I didn't care for was LIZZIE. And, of course, I was right about her. Interesting ensemble for sure.
