The movie was slow, I almost walked out. It was somewhat degrading. Everything went wrong, stealing, alcoholism, gambling, death, and racial comments. The interracial love was inspiring to me but the movie showed many negative views. If you are looking for a children’s movie with real life issues, this may be the movie for your family.
