I've finished all 24 episodes. Character development for the twins are extremely gradual. Feels painfully slow. Moroha is the comic relief character however I feel bad for her upbringing. Almost cruel how her story is told. Overall the three main characters have some bells and whistles. I like them as main characters, you have to be patient with the development and carefully watch for subtle changes. The villains seem soft and a bit bland. The main villain is captivating but nothing compared to Naraku. If you came to see the og characters why watch a series about three others? Now let's talk about sesshomaru...
He had feelings for Rin in old show. He waited til she was older before gettin serious. Rin had the twins at the age of 15 or so. Gross to our time and a little gross for me. Huge age difference but ppl look over the age difference between Inuyasha and Kagome. 50 years plus and middle school girl.. Sesshomaru is a demon, you think he would just be all human like when it comes to his daughters? Wrong. Plus if you watch carefully he has been protecting his daughters from the beginning. While pretending as if he could care less which is the opposite. You weren't watching closely if you are complaining about his actions from the flashbacks concerning the twins. The main villain catches on to sesshomaru's actions later in the show. The main villain states that he knows sesshomaru intentions to keep the twins safe. Again very subtle motives and development. I enjoyed the series so far. Watch it for a new storyline in a familiar setting(world). Don't come in expecting the show to revolve around the OG crew. It's a story about three demon princesses. Worth watching.
