It’s humorous and weird. The show ambulates slowly but keeps giving new revelations of the mystery in every episode. It’s nearly impossible to tell whodunnit… so many clues, so many suspects!

To be honest, I am not much of a TV watcher. But I find myself tuning in to shows during breaks in my work-from-home situation in this time of COVID-19. Lovecraft Country is, from my limited experience, the weirdest, most frightening show on HBO since True Blood. I have not read the book, so I have no idea what to expect, except that I never know what's next. It is truly satisfying: exciting, weird, and unpredictable.
