The core story line is trite, the science fiction aspect is confusing and nonsensical. None of the “science” is explained.

The movie is exactly what it appears to be: fun, action packed and entertaining. It is a component of the best constructed film series in the history of film, and one that sets up the next film in addition to standing alone. First Wonder Woman and now Captain Marvel! As a father of two daughters, it is great to see women leading such great films.
