I have liked everything I've seen by Maria Schrader and this was no exception. Dan Stevens is great as the robot. Best film I've seen in a while.

A totally GORGEOUS adaptation of the 18th century novel. An epic with matching music. Another masterpiece from Stanley Kubrick.

I'm one of those for whom THE STAND is by far my favorite book, so I will naturally watch any adaptation. I felt close to the '94 cast and see them all in my mind, and have to re-envision the replacements. I think some of the women are hard to distinguish from one another. Maybe they should have changed looks more. I missed Kareem as the monster shouter also. And Larry's mother: "Jesus wept." But so far I'm quite intrigued. Of course I will watch the rest of the show.

I was engrossed from the beginning. The way it was presented heightened the tension, but I broke down at the ending. How beautifully powerful!

I'm a Woody Allen fan; have been for years. I used to think he stole my jokes, tho he was a writer and I was in 5th grade. So I liked this movie. It wasn't "Annie Hall" but it was still pure Woody. Evan Rachel Wood was a joy to watch, and Larry David was Larry David... playing Woody Allen. I confess to laughing out loud on occasion. As the world is now in the grip of a pandemic, Allen's comedies provide a respite from all the garbage of the day for 90 minutes.

What a GEM of a movie! Alfred Molina was great, but Ido Port absolutely stole the show. The cinematography was beautiful. Loved this movie.
