I was so excited for the movie sadly I was disappointed. I watched it in hopes of it being a good, fun movie. The cast was very good and I was expecting a much better performance then that. How it focused on the celebrities much more than on the actual issue (emma, alyssa, and the prom) was just sickening. Some of the acting was overdone and felt extremely fake. Most of the main characters were forgotten for more than half the movie, only to make a random apparition doing a cliché dance number or cheesy line. It started getting kind of boring and overall cheesy. It did absolutely no justice to the musical and was disappointing to say the least.
