I do adore this programme. The amazing crafts people really demonstrate a set of values which hopefully the younger generation might emulate. We always watched The Repair Shop in the afternoon and were delighted when the programme was promoted to a prime spot. Long may these dedicated people continued to amaze us - thank you to all of you!

Oh dear! Jay Blades created a right eyesore on Nov 19th 2020. We were shocked by what he made out of old doors and some bannister rail. Money for nothing is a must see programme and would normally deserve five stars, but this time I can give only three. Oddly enough, Jay was really chuffed with his ‘rustic bench’. We were at hysteria point when he said that it hadn’t yet been sold, but that it wasn’t because the design was bad. It was awful! The bench had a cushion which was much too short widthways and the completed item really looked as though a couple of children had been let loose with some old wood and some nails and hammers. Sorry Jay, we really like you but you need to go back to the skip and dump that bench.
