I am a physiotherapist by profession and I am very proud of it . We know how much effort we put in achieving our degrees and the way we practice our profession . I don’t think any profession should be degraded by anyone . People who do so are just a bunch of un educated idiots who don’t even know the value of such professions and I am definitely not even bothered or concerned in trying to make them understand how noble our work is or how we practice . It doesn’t matter because the issue isn’t about physiotherapy . The problem is their low cheap mentality . They absolutely have no idea about this profession and that’s why they come up with such cheap ideas. If physiotherapy wasn’t a noble profession why would countries like USA , Uk , Australia and Canada, even the Middle East want Physio’s to work with them and we are one of the most highly paid profession around the world . This is basically the lack of knowledge of physiotherapy profession among these people . So it’s pointless even trying to explain it to them . As a physio I know where I stand , I know how noble my profession is and I definitely know how to treat my patient right . So I am not going to prove my self for unworthy people like them. Anyways who are they to even criticise a profession . Surely someone with a scarcity in medical knowledge and practice Dr. Dharshika (PT)
