Constant action and humor amidst the blood and wise cracks kept me alert and involved. So good to.see that " the good triumphs over evil" even in dreadful circumstances. The technology of film making was evident and in delightful visual array. Hugh Jackman was totally appreciated in his wolverine role. As an almost 80 year old I was constantly aware of the inconceivable that the dead come alive, Die, come alive again as part of the internet games and movies unlike in my earlier days. The sound of intense language of F... words was part of humor and violence which appears throughout our United States English world. The movie is worth ones time and energy as part of USA culture.

The movie has universal directive across cultures.It addresses the depths of the human spirit. Amidst the undeniable beauty of New Zealand uncovered by brilliant cinematography the viewers are opening the pain of a foster child who searches for persons to trust and finding strength to survive while navigating the adventures in the wilderness. The friendship is developed between the child and foster dad with hills and valleys iof emotions. The film is brilliantly directed written and acted. As a former foster child 75 years ago I felt particularly connected to this film. Thank you New Zealand and thank you Maori actors and director and writer.
