Epic story, very well done, very enjoyable!

One of the most popular directors ever made a documentary of the most popular band is history, and I wonder if those praising it actually managed to watch the whole thing. Peter Jackson took 8 hours of old b-roll, mashed it together, then sliced it into 2-3 second cuts like a TV commercial. If this was 2 hours long I would see everything that happened, would enjoy it, and wouldn't get bored by seeing the same thing over and over.

The dark side of ballet, two women in a cutthroat competition, with skinny bodies and bloody feet - we've seen this theme before - and so what? It's very good and very enjoyable! And I didn't know what was going to happen, which is often not the case. Recommended.
