I was thoroughly disappointed in this movie. I loved After and was really looking forward to watching this next film, however my hopes were shattered. The preview for the film made it seem as if Trevor was going to be an obstacle for the couple, but it turns out that he wasn’t. Now I have not read the books so maybe that is something that will happen later on; but The previews alluded to a possible struggle of emotions between the two of them. It’s obvious that Trevor has somewhat of an attraction to Tessa, but it’s very much just on the surface. I was hoping that Trevor would actually pose somewhat of a threat and thus add some more drama and more of an interesting plot to the storyline. The movie lacked a lot of luster and was not very well thought out at all.
