I don't regret watching it. It isn't horrible but it also isn't a masterpiece. If you liked The Rocky Horror Picture Show then you can deal with the singing in this! It's definitely better than the first film. That was just a ripoff of The Machinist with an unnecessary DeNiro cameo.

Not sure what genre this movie is.. possibly a fantasy but definitely not a horror movie 🙄 When I saw the dress, I knew what was being done to me but I still let it happen. Seriously though, the characters aren't saying much as far as substance is concerned, think "after school special" on an acid trip and you'll have it figured out. But there are a few good performances and if you squint real hard, it doesn't feel like they're beating you over the head with their agenda.. even some of us straight kids had a hard and confusing life growing up, after all. Would've given it 2 and a ½ stars but it's just too unopaque to get 3 🌝

Unfortunate that you can't review the seasons separately. The first 3 were solid. The 4th was "meh". The 5th is just virtue signaling woke garbage. You can make all the statements that you want but you also have to be "entertaining". Rod Serling did a masterful job of it 60 years ago. Maybe take a page from his book. But don't label your paper thin morality tale a season of "Fargo" 🙄

There doesn't appear to be a Rocky IV: Ultimate Director's Cut listing to review on Google or RT, so I'll just drop it here ... Only die hard fans are llikely to appreciate this edit and I can understand that but it's definitely superior to the original, all though I would've changed some of the music that remained and also deleted the "if he dies, he dies" remark, since it's a bit 'over the top' (outdated pun intended 😄) I personally didn't like the speech at the end either (all though this version IS briefer and more realistic) ..and maybe they could've had less fans cheering Rocky, for the sake of realism. I think if Stallone could do it all over, he'd have staged the fight in Canada or maybe Sweden. The best new line is definitely Rocky asking Paulie why he's wearing Adrian's ear muffs and him replying that they look better on him. Paulie always steals the show!

Seasons 1 thru 7 are nearly flawless, with the exception of "Survivor Man" (s04e11) "Company Picnic" (s05e26) and "The Sting" (s07e05).. I skip these everytime. They don't feel like they belong for some reason. Seasons 8 and 9 do not exist in my universe. Even the finale irritated me after a couple viewings... It's like if for the first 7 years of your life, you were raised by your real parents and then when you turned 8, you suddenly had new parents that clearly didn't love you as much, and they tried badly to fake it. And on your 9th birthday, they put you up for adoption but, like.. had a party celebrating it.

Imo, Seinfeld found it's niche in the season 5 finale "The Opposite" ..and that's where I start my "viewing cycle". Before that, it was a couple funny lines here and there.. but starting with season 6, it was: "Gold, Jerry, Gold!"

The first 4 episodes were pretty solid and seemed to be setting up an interesting story but then it went off the rails. There's still a few good bits in the 2nd half of the season but there just wasn't enough material to fill 8 episodes.. and the ending feels "meh".

I knew this movie wouldn't be as good as the original but I at least thought a movie with "America" in the title would spend more than a few minutes actually IN America. I also thought Eddie Murphy would be the star. I'm pretty sure James Earl Jones had more screentime in the first film than Eddie has in this sequel. Aside from the scene with Colin Jost and most of Tracy Morgan's jokes.. I never laughed. Just a few smiles and a lot of eye rolls. Unfortunately like a lot of other films being made right now.. if you saw the trailer, you saw the best scenes in the movie, i.e. the barber shop. Eddie originally wanted Morgan to play his son and although the age difference would've been awkward, it may have given this movie a chance at coming close to being good. Instead, we got a film that makes Beverly Hills Cop 3 the 2nd worst Eddie Murphy sequel ever made.

This is one instance where you should absolutely trust the audience over the critics. I'm definitely a die-hard fan of MOTU. I appreciate the corny nostalgia of the original series, and I wish the supremely excellent 200x series hadn't been canceled so soon, but this show only has one thing in common with either of those shows... and that's the name. This could be considered an okay fantasy animated series but calling it Masters of the Universe is just a shameless cash grab from Mattel and Kevin Smith.
