SAVI - Nakul Savi n Adi is a happy go lucky family settled in England, one day Liverpool Police arrests Nakul from his residence on charges of murder, Savi takes the coarse of law but can't do anything, she then makes a plan with the help of Joydeep to break the jail where Nakul is kept in custody. Now the question is would Savi be able to break the jail & save her husband ?? If so, then where would she go after that to save her entire family from the hands of the law !! Anil Kapoor Divya Khosla Kumar & Harshvardhan Rane really makes their presence felt. The story/screenplay are bang on, editing is sharp, background score is awesome & direction by Abhinoy Deo (Force, Blackmail, Delivery fame) is just mind blowing Overall "Savi" is a psychological edge of the seat thriller which would keep you engaging for over 2 hours.

Sedin Kuasha Chilo - a nicely crafted movie consisting of 3 short stories named :- 1.Sedin Aadhar Chilo 2.Sedin Dekha Hoyechilo 3.Sedin Katha Hoyechilo The first deals with a freedom fighter who takes shelter in a woman's home in absence of her husband after being chased by the cops. The second is about 3 childhood friends who lost touch wit each other & reunites after 30 years in a village resort to spend quality time in sharing their childhood past. The third is about a boy who grew up in a village & comes to the city to fulfill his dreams & is not bothered about his ailing parents. The casting is packed with Jeetu kamal Paran Bandopadhyay Lily Chakraborty Debshankar Haldar Joy Sengupta Kharaj Mukherjee Arna Mukhopadhay & Sauraseni Maita. The music by Ranajoy Bhattacharjee is catchy with numbers from Nachi da & Lagnojita Chakraborty Overall a well made movie with a twist in the tale at the end in all the 3 stories which speaks deeply about the makers class & creativity.

Shaitaan - Kabir & Jyoti decides to spend their weekend in their farmhouse with Janvi & Dhruv, their kids. On their way, they come across Vanraj, who later enters into their lives as a well wisher & take full control of Janvi by virtue of black magic & later on also forces the couple to allow Janvi to let go her with him. Now the big question is whether the couple would be able to save Janvi from the hands of Vanraj ? Ajay Devgan delivers a matured performance equally backed up by Jyothika, Janki Bodiwala & Angad Raaj but it's Madhavan who steals the show as Vanraj, the mean demon. Director, Vikas Bahl (Queen fame) handles the horror elements & eerie situations well, the storyline & screenplay is good enough to create an atmosphere of supernatural occurance, the editing could have been more tighter with a runtime over 2 hours. Shaitaan is a good psychological thriller which may deserve a watch.

Sam Bahadur - Sam Manekshaw popularly known as "Sam Bahadur" courtesy the Gorkha Regiment was awarded India's first Field Marshall on the verge of his retirement by Indira Gandhi's govt. Sam was born to a Parsi couple who joined the British Indian army & served world war 2 against Japan, after partition he was assigned as the supremo of the Indian army, his contribution to the wars thru out North Eastern states of Assam Nagaland Mizoram & Manipur is truly bold, his last war against East Pakistan in 1971 to save a nation against all odds talks highly about the character & leadership that he carried out thru out his career stretching over 34 years. During extreme situation of crisis in life, one must learn from Sam to say that "I m ok & everything will be ok." The story screenplay & direction is mastered well, Vicky Kaushal is dynamic, Sanya as Sillo, Sam's better half is impressive, Fatima as Indira Gandhi & Neeraj Kabi as Nehru fails to impress, however Govind Namdeo as Sardar Patel & Anjan Srivastav as Yashwant Rao Chavan is well casted, overall a nicely crafted film that deserves a watch.

Balbir Singh was too busy in building up a huge business empire & in the process he failed to pay attention towards his son, Ranvijay & his 2 daughter's creating a huge distance in their relationship, later on when Ranvijay grew up his thirst for love towards his father increases & he could go up to any extent by risking his own life to safeguard his father & family in times of utter crisis. Ranbir Kapoor rocked, his onscreen chemistry wit Rashmika is brilliant, Anil Kapoor's supporting cast was extraordinary, Bobby Deol in a short negative role proves his talent as well, the storyline/screenplay keeps us engaging, the editing could have been tighter wit a runtime over 200 mins, the actions & gun fight though engaging could have been restricted, the songs & background score r worthy enough, the direction by Sandeep Reddy Vanga (Kabir Singh fame) is smart indeed, overall a nice entertainer which surely deserves a watch.

Tanhaji the unsung warrior - After his father's death at an early age Tanhaji was being brought up by Shivaji's mother Later, on the request of Shivaji's mother he was appointed as the subedar of the Marathas The Mughals in 1664 under the reign of Aurengzeb had captured 23 forts by force from the Marathas & the most important among them was the gondana fort at Pune which was their gateway for capturing south india The responsibility of the Gondana fort was handed over to a Rajput warrior Udaybhan Rathor (saif) But the Marathas felt unsafe with the capture of the Gondana fort & shivaji's mother wanted to recapture it by any way from the Mughals under the leadership of Shivaji's right hand; Subedar Tanhaji Malusare Now the big question is would tanhaji be able to fulfill the hopes of the Marathas ?? Ajay Kajol saif neha perhaps has given their lifetime performances The narration screenplay editing song picturising fight sequences VFX & direction were awesome A paise vasooli movie indeed on 3D..

Watching Gumnaami made me passionate indeed !! It is believed that after several investigations conducted by various commissions netaji did not die in an aircrash in 1945 or neither he died of torture in an army camp in Russia which several historians claim/rather he breathed his last in Faizabad in UP in 1985 at the age of 96. He spent the last few years of his life as a saint or Gumnaami (Baba) in exile. What a mystery ?? His ashes till date which remains in one of the famous temple in Japan has not yet been claimed by his family members which is a mystery ? Why Nehru after his exile poked his nose in his family matters is still a mystery !! At the cremation ground in Beneras in 1985 only 13 Indians were present to bid good bye to one of the topmost martyrs of the country (which should have been atleast 13 lakhs) No matter what ever is written or would be rewritten in the history books but renounced & respected director Srijit Mukherji was successful to slap on the face of our administration by describing facts which may show light to our future generations. Bravo Srijit.....Bravo...
