I know I'm a little bit late and I wasn't expecting that I'm gonna like this. Lol. Once again Marie Lu created an amazing young adult science fiction that inspired thousands of readers. At first WARCROSS is kinda predictable, because of a generic story of an "ordinary girl" who turns out to be "the chosen one." But this is book has a different touch. It's like a combination of notable movies like: Nerve, Ready Player One and Alita: Battle Angel, a sci-fi action packed with a little romance in a dystopian era. What I really liked most about while reading it is the "feels and the vibe." The book is very entertaining and idealistic, in a good way. If you are into drama and genre is Action and Adventure, you'll love it. Even if you are a non-gamer, I'm pretty sure you're gonna appreciate this. I visualize the main character Emika as Suzy Bae (Start Up) and Hideo Tanaka as Kim Soo Hyun (My Love from The Star). Please don't judge me. I'm gonna rate this 4/5 stars because i enjoyed it! Looking forward to read the sequel.
