Fantastic visuals, solid story, excellent combat & character progression wonderful open world. However 2 major drawbacks. On my second playthrough (the first I sped to the ending) I completed every main quest, side quest & open world activity in under 50 hours. And this was playing on max difficulty on a non-lethal playthrough. This is absurdly short considering I was still new to the game and story, enjoying it not speeding through, and on the max difficulty, with the non-lethal challenge too. Given the best opportunity to take a long time it was only 48.2 hours. Sure there is replayability but I want to be able to pour hundreds of hours into a single run not reset 6 times. To put this in perspective, if you play this one hour a day you will be done with every scrap of content in a playthrough in a month and a half. For this reason I sadly do not recommend buying this great game unless it's on a solid sale.
The second issue is difficulty, on max difficulty with a non-lethal challenge thrown into the mix this game did not pose a challenge. With non-lethal guns I can one-shot any standard enemy and bosses take a half dozen hits with a baseball bat, and that is it, not to mention within 30 hours of playtime I'm a near max level 800hp beast with literally a second life (second heart) if I die I just rise back up which recharges in 80 seconds. Unfortunately I didn't feel like I needed to use most of the abilities and combat features as sprinting in with a bat was good enough.
All in all, great potential but falls short in the 2 most important areas, quality entertainment time (value for money), and challenges to overcome
