Much improved over 20 (you can score with your head again) but EA gives, and EA takes away. This year, the disaster is goalkeepers who are usually so bad they as well not be there. Incapable of stopping anything from the near post, unable to to actually dive, preferring to simply fall to the ground, and hopeless at set pieces, keepers are simply broken. And until they're fixed, the many improvements are entirely negated. There's simply no point playing this until keepers are fixed. Good work, EA.

PROS - Great graphics, well optimised, runs like butter. CONS - Extremely repetitive, randomly tries to group you up. Verdict - Pick it up in a sale and you won't be disappointed. I didn't pick it up in a sale and was disappointed.

It's FIFA 19, but this time EA intentionally screwed the core game up on release so that, post-patching, it seems like a half-decent release. It isn't. It's FIFA 19 with minimal changes to anything, the spurious addition of Volta (so good you'll play it once, yawn, and never play it again) and some minor gameplay tweaks. Far as I can tell the only way to experience a different Football simulator every year is to switch between FIFA and PES. Wish I'd skipped FIFA this year. Absurdly over-priced for the little you get.
