Movie is laced with interesting twists and turns. The final scene will punch you out literally. Great story telling deft casting and a funny fixation with a dustbin. Setupathy towers with his brooding and bambling histrionics. He is a treat who is adding layers of acting colors. He shines with his single minded devotion of living it up and down for his daughter. Anurag Kashyap is a surprise package here. He is like a lower class evilness, who cooks and eats at his victims place without remorse killing and raping them. One of the stand out movies no doubt of the year. He is believable as the normal doting father and husband as also the despicable yet humane rapist. He has put in his best till date and man it shows.. The last scene probably would be etched in the mind for a long haunting time.. Take a bow AK!!

The opening dialogue of the movie illuminates the screen .....there are so many characters and plots panning out at the same time though magnificently ,it's a roller coaster ride . Full marks to the storytelling ability without getting out of control . Superb acting by all the leading actors specially Rolex who captures those 10 mts when he is on screen. Effortlessly borrowed from the Batman francise the feel the texture of the city landscape India's true franchise has the promise to be a masterpiece of the future.......

Freddy The movie is like a box of dark chocolate sinfully delightful would leave you yearning for more.... ... Baazigar take a backseat the dark heroes of today will go the extra yard to prove their point with a delightful menacing yet unapolegetic justice which will have you squirm in your seat but will still have you glued to see what comes next . Karthik Aryan owns the movie and carries the movie on his broad shoulder with elan. This is the badlapur for Karthik Aryan and full kudos goes to the director, a crafts man par excellence. The broody nature of the narrative is perfectly captured in the parsi Irani Mumbai landscape. The director scores while keeping the visual dark and foreboding. Kartik Aryan gets a perfect vehicle where vulnerability is juxtaposed with vengeance. The nerdy geeky character sits perfectly well with the character uncoiling the underlying seething angst of being a social reject at the same time the pining for the lady love is so true and the deception is so heart breaking that you would start rooting for the hero to go for the kill.

This was a masterpiece lost in time . The virtual stand offs between methodical acting and raw energy is a testimony of one of the finest enactments of natural expressions and a new age rebellion which seldom has been enacted. No regrets only true vendetta which screams of misplaced injustice captures this enigmatic stand off between father and son never captured so magnificently which incorporates into a epic tragic end. The sub Mediterranean touch along with a dash of the chemistry between the leading pairs is the highlight Sandler straddles the plot and Anniston is the suitable bonhomial partner who is ever present by his side . Good watch if you are a light forget the depth kind of watcher. Ensemble cast could have been better for the way the movie was mounted. All in all a good friday night popcorn movie with ur spice or spouse
