Kyle Smith

Played on PS5 and about 5-6 hours in.. So far, Control is a good game. It's dripping with ambiance and has a great earie tone. The combat is pretty good (shooting is mediocre, but when coupled with powers it is definitely satisfying). My hang-up with the game so far is just that I haven't been given a good reason to care about the protagonist. She is like a cardboard cutout. Also, the feels a little too try-hard. My prediction is that the game will end up like the TV show Lost.... lots of cool and intriguing ideas but will leave A LOT of loose ends. I am going to finish the game but thought I'd comment on my experience so far.
