Robert Giebitz

I loved this film. I saw it at a Santa Fe film festival last year. The cinematography is stunning. The dialogue is sparse yet compelling. I could only pick up a word or phrase here and there since my Aymara is quite limited, but the sparseness of the dialogue allowed for plenty of time to read the subtitles in English without losing any of the beauty on the screen. The depth of empathy this film evokes is magical and heartbreaking. Five stars for directing, acting, and authenticity. Óscar Catacora has a brilliant career ahead of him. I will be watching for his next film.
