Graphics and game-play is great and beautiful but story and characters aren't welcomed. They are weak and destroys the fantasy of trying to live in a world that can exist but it doesn't work. The dialogue is childish and the interactions between characters is mostly awkward. These people don't have proper conversations, eye to eye.
No compelling story to be found.
There seems to be an aggressive movement for representation of women in different types of lifestyles.
It feels like SONY gaming department has a very close friendship with the developers and creators of this game that they are willing to let them produce this type of production.
The interesting fact is, over 90% of the players who purchase this game are male. And we don't ever, hardly, accept this types of changes, favoring an obvious, in-your-face, women-know-best-can-do-anything-men-can-do, story telling.
Being a gamer since I was 10 years old and now 37, some game developing companies unfortunately are bringing their ideologies to video-games hoping to "educate us" and they are simply just alienating us from them with their soft mentality and taste for virtual sympathy of a particular group of individuals who are less than 1% of the population and only exist loudly in the virtual hallways of social media.
The interesting element of this game, unfortunately, is that people in real life are like the deadly creatures in this game, ready to get rid of you if they had the chance. The mutants here have more realism and interesting element than the humans.
Where did all the men go in this game? If you want to bring in a realistic aspect to this environment, perhaps a proper research will teach you that military personal are mostly men. Men fight stronger, faster, shoot, reload and are superior fighters. How can these latte drinking, Instagram human-beings be superior to military, law-enforced trained men? Where are the tough men?
Anyways, I do not recommend this game.
Get Final Fantasy 7 or something from Rockstar Games.
