Total rubbish! Same thing different movie.

If you are a genuine Mortal Kombat fan who has followed its growth over time, then this review is for you, otherwise don't bother and skip this. That said: This movie is total and utter nonsense. May I be bold to say the last one was way better than this feeble attempt at portrayimg our beloved Mortal Kombat, this classic franchise. It's so bad that the soundtrack was nonexistent not until the end credits. Sad!

All the parts, pieces, actors, storyline, pace etc for a masterpiece were in place but it would seem that somewhere in the middle they lost interest and settled for less than satisfactory.

If you like overly sentimental superheroes who display little to no powers but prefer boundless boring dialogue and self pity, then this is the show for you. This is more of a drama and fails at the promise of excitement, action, adventure and suspense. Rather you get emotional, dysfunctional characters without a cohesive platform. The storyline is incoherent and the characters are everywhere. The build up is terribly slow and seemingly a waste of time. There are no surprises only the obvious and disappointing expectations. Other than Chacha and Hazel who nailed their parts exceptionally the other characters missed it. I guess different strokes for different folks but how some.people label it exhilirating is baffling.
