Not even close to Final Fantasy 7...this is a money grab...period. Overly dramatic voice overs make this almost unbearable from the beginning. I wasted thirty minutes installing this poor excuse for a remake. Why didn't Square just write another game? It seems like they put a lot of effort into ruining one of the absolute best video games ever made. My other two regrets besides wasting a half hour installing this abomination were wasting hours playing it and good money buying this swill. How on Earth did this game get so many 5 star reviews? Has to be shill reviews...couldn't possibly be by real fans of the original. This isn't even the entire game...it's just the first part and no one knows how many parts they plan on dividing it up into.

Made it about halfway through a few episodes and just couldn't find anything about them to entice me into finishing them. They were that bad. I tried with every fiber of my being to enjoy them because I love Scooby Doo. I tried. I truly did. To say it's poorly written is a stout understatement. "Velma" rather intentionally alienates itself from anything enjoyable in the Scooby Doo universe. And, it does so in a way that it seems to be poke-in-the-eye disrespectful to the very core of any and everything Scooby Doo...fans included. A group of writers and animators must have sat down with one single goal in mind: creating the absolute worst animated series that they could. To each their own, I suppose. The only thing I can end this review with is the proverbial "see for yourself" adage. But remember...you have been warned.
