The movie is utter nonsense. The plot makes no logical sense. Light sabers don't appear out of the air and jedis can't telliport. It is clear the writers either never saw Star Wars or were intentionally trying to rewrite the entire canon, and not in a good way. The result, however, is an illogical, silly, disjointed plot that doesn't mesh with the Star Wars canon. Disney should stop doing violence to the already established and loved George Lucas storyline. No Rey or Kylo-Ren, but Mara Jade and Ben Skywalker and the New Republic! Dinsey should chulk its sequels up to some alternate universe and bow put gracefully.

While the series contained a couple scenes involving the Hood that didn't do anything for the plot, it was nevertheless an altogether very original and intriguing storyline.

I gave it 2-stars based upon the episodes that I have watched so far in Season 1. As a whole, the series was unexpectedly entertaining and exciting. Even if you are not a DC fan, like I am, you can still enjoy the storyline, at least up to a certain point. The show had action, adventure, humor, friendship, and love stories. The show had such great potential. I couldn't wait to watch each next episode, right up until it got into the Occult storyline. I am not sure what Aleister Crawley and the Devil have to do with the storyline, but I thought it was disturbingly disruptive to the flow of the story and completely unnecessary! I, and a number of others who have watched the show, found that Occult sequence sufficiently disturbing enough to stop watching the series.
