Absolutely dreadful. Stories unbelievable. Stock characters. A useless lazy cop who does no work, in fact hates the thought of it and is completely expressionless. A delightful Pearl is wasted here. The only good thing is the scenery.

Unique in the fact there is no bad language at all yet excellent actors and gripping plots. Shows it can be done. Let other producers learn from this. Can't wait for another series.

The diction was abysmal so spoilt my enjoyment of what were complex themes that needed to be understood.
