Cinematically it was beautiful but there was absolutely zero depth or story to this film. I feel like they blew the budget on CGI and graphics and didn’t invest in the storytelling at all. Hugely disappointed. We almost walked out half way through but held on hoping it would get better. It didn’t and we felt we lost precious time on Christmas Day with family for a film that didn’t hold its value.

I felt like it being a 2 part movie and not being advertised as such was a little shady. It moved really slowly and I felt lost through almost the entire film. There were so many moving parts and so much information to try to absorb that I felt frustrated by the movie by the first 20 minutes. It felt like they loaded up on an all star cast and then have blips of them through the film but they weren’t the main event the way the previews made it out to be. Cinematically it was awesome but it felt like trying to drink from a firehose. I recommend waiting til it comes to Redbox or watching from home so you can watch and rewatch to try to absorb it all

It was probably the second movie ever that I can say left me feeling nauseous from the amount of disgusting gore. I felt like it was absolutely vile. The first one was violent but this movie took it to the next level. If gore is your thing you’ll love it, if You want a story line this is not your movie
