Loved this. Loved original. Not disappointed. Bright, dynamic. Stunning performances including Tony - surprised to see negative comment. His voice was strong, mellow and mature. This was faithful to original but with some deft changes. It wouldn't have worked as well as it does if they had rewritten for present day. Glad they didn't. Great to have Rita Moreno in it and Anita was magnificent ly played. AMERICA changed location from rooftop with Sharks to explosive riot of colour and movement through the streets. Brill. Watch it if you can especially if you lived iriginsl
