This movie is awesome, coming out in the late 60's before my time. I loved the storyline and seemed very futuristic. I am goimg to read the book before I watch it again.

Imagine in the not so distant future were at birth your future is determined by a simple blood test. Gattaca is a movie were only those with superior genes make it in society. It is something similar to what we are seeing today with designer babies. Were parents can pick what sex they want their kids to be, and can see what diseases they avoid their kids from getting. Gattaca was way ahead of It's time., If your were a faith birth ,you were considered an in- valid; and those designed were valids. It seems unfair but the world hates inferiority. Superiority has always reigned, and this mentality will continue. We all can achieve success, but wanting perfection can be self destructive
