Complete garbage. The Rock stars as a psycho revenge seeking ex-con who proceeds to go through the entire film like a Terminator killing all his enemies. Plot holes a mile wide,none of this makes much sense. Billybob Thorton shows up as a cliched 10 days to retirement cop assigned to investigate along with a woman cop partner,the actress of who's name I can't remember and couldn't care less about as her character was bland and forgettable. Oliver Jackson Cohen plays a rival assassin hired by someone unknown to eliminate the rock's character. He has the only decent scenes as a thoughtful killer looking to find meaning in his life he has a hot gf so that motivated him I guess? He and theRock have a couple of shootouts but,it doesn't amount to much. This was a disjointed convoluted mess of a story. Scenes don't mesh together it hops from scene to scene and by the end of this I just didn't care and wanted this pos film to end. It doesn't help that the actors are given beyond dumb dialogue and the direction that was subpar. There isn't 1 memorable action sequence in a film primarily sold to the public as an actioner.

Horrible.Time to kill off the Bourne character and continue with Jeremy Renner's character or someone new alltogether. Boring.Predictable.total waste of time.1 good sequence in the whole film the Vegas strip chase and that's it. Embarrassingly awful plotline the Bourne character is utterly unlikable and unsympathetic as played by the nuaseatingly smug Matt Damon who just might be the worst actor ever. Tommy Lee Jones is wasted in a cash grab and I'm outta here role. By the end of this pos film I was rooting for Bourne to die,which(spoiler) he doesn't. Paul Greengrass,the director isn't up to the job either,as he directed this movie as if he was in serious need of an enema.

Felt like a made for TV movie and wasted an opportunity to say anything meaningful. The Cast wasn't very good and the writing Forgettable and stale. The sfx are decent and the cinematography was done well but,otherwise this was a boring rote by the numbers disaster flick.

Jack Nicholson's greatest role a former LAPD detective turned private investigator who during a new case slowly uncovers a plot to reirragate land by nefarious means.Set in1938, Seabiscuit is a star,everything from the cars to the clothes,(and the great Jerry goldsmith score) drops audiences back in time.All the actors are spot on Faye Dunaway was never better, but I found all the Small characters from Lt.Escobar to Morty the coroner is what shines. Particularly creepy is John Huston as Noah Cross and the dark past he shares with his daughter and the mulray character. It is Jack Nicholson though who really makes this movie remarkable he really shines as a somewhat jaded Jake Gittes who has alot of issues with the politics and unspoken corruption of 1930's LAPD. Polanski made a tremendous film noir that still has rewatch value even today and this film Was released 45yrs ago in 1974. If you ever get a chance to see this film do not hesitate, it is when Hollywood still made great quality films and not today's woke political agenda drivel films marketed to 14 yr olds.
