A disgusting movie about a disgusting character.

A lame attempt at weaving a movie around a historical proud moment. The director doesn’t seem to have a story to tell, just an age old Bollywood masala format of some drama, action, comedy and emotion which lacked cohesion. Seems like director was trying to do too much, failing at everything. Script is nothing inspiring, nothing that can cause a rush in your veins. The acting performances are pretty ordinary across the board, Ranvir doesn’t seem to have the caliber to enact a personality so distinctive as Kapil Dev. Background score was such that every now and then it felt like it was the climax. The only positive I could find was the graphics, the cricket matches are filmed really well. You can see the action happening as you would see in an actual match on Tv, no tricky camerawork.

Commendable direction aided by superb acting performances. Taranvir singh jagpal is definitely one of the best in the industry. Jaidev Kumar’s music is so instrumental in enhancing the emotional depth of the movie. Beautiful movie!!

no creative effort, maybe due to budget constraints, but this is a nothing film.

anees bazmi seems to know nothing about punjabis. Overacting(actually no acting) everywhere, Characters and script was so poorly written that i could not get past 15 minutes. It is a non-sense movie.
