I inherited this book from my grandfather, a passionate gardener. This book has become one of my primary resources for growing my own garden patch on the west coast of Canada. The book has easy to digest information on how to cultivate and plan your garden, as well as specific information about varieties of vegetables from asparagus to turnip and everything in between. Included are chapter segments on soil, tools, mulching, composting, bugs, and what to do when seasons change. I truly love this book and look forward to re-reading it many more times.
