This show is so bad it’s good. Great show to watch if you have absolutely nothing else going on! Definitely low budget. This show was filmed on a budget of $20 on a random Tuesday afternoon. The wig budget was a max $6.50. Sound design? Garbage. I’m happy I have captions on because the music levels are all over the place and half the time you can’t hear the dialogue. Music cuts out randomly often. Acting? Terrible. I mean literally these actors can’t act their way out of a paper bag. The amount of times these characters cry but have no tears is comedic. And WHY are there so many characters?? Literally cannot keep track of who’s who and why they’re important to the show. Plot? Prepared to have no clue what’s going on, and that’s okay because it’s not important. Example: Tami Roman’s character apparently gave birth sometime between season 1 & 2 but there was never any mention of her being pregnant prior to the birth LOL. The Paris character has terrible relationships with pretty much every other female character but will we ever know why? No. There’s a bunch of other plot holes I don’t have time to mention but those might be two of a funnier ones. Oh AND I have to add….for a show centered around a killer family who kills people at least 10 times per episode you’d think you see some blood lollll. The deaths are absolutely ridiculous. I don’t know much about being shot but I suspect there’d be some blood…? Please raise the budget of the props department…..the $2 they’re currently working with definitely shows…badly. Be prepared for 200+ characters and no cohesion, but every once in awhile you’ll get a good laugh!

Super disappointing. When I originally saw the trailers and all the talented actors, I was so excited. But maybe 15 mins into the first episode I knew this show wasn’t for me. To me, Yaya Dacosta is not ready for the lead. Her acting is forced and unnatural. Why is everything her character says a business pitch? It’s like there’s no depth. And yes, while hair is a very important aspect of black womanhood, the way it comes across is frankly just corny. If it’s not a business pitch, she’s telling another character she just met about hair being a woman’s crown…..Like please give her character some relatability and normal social skills. There’s a few other strange aspects of the show, like a weird romantic relationship between her and Lance Gross’ character (does anyone even remember his characters name?) and the forced lesbian relationship with Rhyon Nicole Brown (her gf is thrown off a boat???? like come on) but the main problem of this show is the terrible pacing. I mean terrible. Why is there the need to reveal everything in the first 20 mins? Let the story unfold on its own! For the life of me, I couldn’t tell you who’s who, who’s related, who’s together, etc. because some new piece of drama is happening every other scene. Really hoping the show will not be renewed for a second season. Please go back to the drawing board with this one…
