I enjoyed it. Up to that point I'd never seen the original animation so I had nothing to compare it to, but the barebones knowledge of the plot. I think because of this, I was able to see if the story was able to stand on it's own two feet, it does. I went back to watch the original animation, and I think it's best that it's left in the 90's.
